Basic Laparoscopic Surgery in Animals with Dr. Paul Reyes

The 21st century is framed by the rise and flourishing of a new surgical
theory: minimally invasive surgery, whose change of thinking represents a new
essence for daily practice for veterinary surgery and leaves the way open to the
formulation of new procedures.

The horizon of small animal surgery continues to expand, with the increase
in demand for Veterinarians with special skills in different surgical scenarios and
with knowledge in laparoscopic techniques.

By strengthening the training of human
resources in an area with such a clear and important future in which heavy
investments are estimated over the coming decades, they will be able to acquire
skills and abilities to be transferred to the operating room in different clinical cases.

The main purpose of this Workshop is to train Veterinarians in obtaining
theoretical and practical knowledge about laparoscopy equipment and instruments
and to develop specific skills in minimally invasive surgery, performing basic
surgical procedures.

In total the course will take fifteen (15) hours.
